US Data Centers, November 2026
October saw continued expansion in large-scale U.S. data center development, with major projects advancing through construction, new filings, and power infrastructure planning across Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas, Utah, Missouri, and Colorado.
Power availability remained a central theme, with proposed nuclear-powered campuses, on-site natural gas generation, and new transmission infrastructure shaping development plans. Meanwhile, satellite imagery confirmed construction progress at several hyperscale sites, even as permitting and grid connection challenges created uncertainty around activation timelines.
