PowerHouse and Provident partner to develop a 768-acre hyperscale data center campus in Grand Prairie, Texas

- PowerHouse Data Centers, a division of American Real Estate Partners (AREP), and Provident Data Centers have announced a joint venture to develop a 768-acre hyperscale data center campus in Grand Prairie, Texas. The campus will feature 24 buildings across three phases, with the first building expected to be operational by May 2026. The project includes a 1.8GW on-site switchyard, with an initial 500MW tranche approved by ERCOT. All necessary approvals and permits have been secured, and design and engineering efforts are underway. This development aims to meet the growing demand for digital infrastructure in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
