- EdgeConneX, through its affiliate PowerConneX Inc., has proposed a 120MW gas-fired power plant in western Licking County, Ohio, to provide electricity to a new data center within the New Albany International Business Park. The power plant is planned for a 48.6-acre site located northwest of Ohio 161 and Mink Street. Construction is expected to begin in Q4 2025, with operations commencing as early as Q1 2026. The Ohio Power Siting Board will review the application, with public hearings scheduled for February 19 and March 19 to discuss the project.
