- Dominion Energy has successfully installed the 50th monopile foundation for its 2.6-gigawatt Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project, located 33 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach. This achievement keeps the project on track to install between 70 to 100 monopiles by the end of October 2024. Once completed, the CVOW project will consist of 176 turbines, generating enough clean energy to power up to 660,000 homes. The project remains on schedule for completion in late 2026.
