Talen Energy has requested the rezoning of 1,300 acres in Montour County, Pennsylvania, from agricultural and public use to industrial for potential data center and power projects. While the company already hosts Amazon’s data center at its Cumulus Campus in nearby Berwick, the new rezoning proposal marks an early step in broadening Talen’s energy-linked digital infrastructure footprint across the region. It remains unclear whether the new site would be colocated with power generation.
