CyrusOne has begun construction on its new hyperscale campus in Whitney, Texas, developed with Calpine and backed by KKR and GIP. The project will feature 190 MW of power from Calpine’s Thad Hill Energy Center and over 190,000 sq ft of initial data center space. Satellite imagery from July 29, 2025 confirms land grading activity, with the campus expected to be fully operational by Q2 2026, with final completion targeted for Q1 2027.
