New Mexico officials have advanced a $165B industrial revenue bond package for Project Jupiter, an AI data center campus near Albuquerque, potentially one of the largest bond deals ever considered in the U.S. According to bond documents, $15B would fund a microgrid and battery storage facility, $25B would cover construction of the data center facilities, and $125B would support operations. A final hearing on bond approval is scheduled for Sept 19, 2025.
